2021 FCIE Annual Conference

The FCIE executive committee is monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and evaluating its potential impact on the conference. At the moment, we are proceeding with our plans to have a face-to-face conference and plan to follow the COVID-19 protocols of our host institution. Santa Fe College strongly encourages vaccinations and masks during indoor meetings.

FCIE is committed to providing a safe and secure conference. We plan to use appropriate meeting spaces that will provide some degree of social distancing. We will make judicious decisions about food and beverage service and will invite guests to eat outdoors. Anyone who registers for the conference and is forced to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be able to receive a full refund if the request is made by Friday, September 24.

Credit Card - Use registration portal and select pay by PayPal or Credit Card. Once you select the PayPal or Credit Card option the PayPal login will appear, click on “Checkout as Guest” and enter your email address on the next PayPal form and click “Continue to Payment.”  You will then be able to put in your credit card information on the next form without having to log in.

Walk-In Payments - Walk-In Registrations and Payments can be made the day of the conference when you arrive. We do not recommend using this option, however, we can accommodate if necessary.

Note:  all cancellation requests must be received in writing by ---.  No refunds will be given after this date.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  There is a $ processing fee for all conference cancellations.

Important Reservation Details:

A block of rooms has been reserved for October 6 - 8, 2021 at the Best Western Gateway Grand. The special room rate will be available until September 9, 2021 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Visitors may also want to consider staying at the Drury Inn – Gainesville.

These room blocks have been set at the preferred rates of $89.00 Double Room/$99.00 King Suite (plus tax) for this event (limited rooms available).  Institutional representatives should make their own reservations. You may need to provide proof of tax exempt status at the time of check-in. Self-parking is free. Hotel is located approximately 10 miles away from the Santa Fe College Campus.
