Gabriela Méndez is Assistant Director of Florida International University’s Office of Collaborative Online International Learning (FIU COIL). She holds a Master’s in Information Technology Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has worked in different aspects of online education such as course design, technology implementation, and teaching both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Stephanie Doscher, Ed.D., Director of Florida International University’s Office of Collaborative Online International Learning (FIU COIL), is contributing editor and co-author of The Guide to COIL Virtual Exchange (Stylus, 2022) and co-author of Making Global Learning Universal: Promoting Inclusion and Success for All Students (Stylus & NAFSA, 2018), comprehensive handbooks for engaging all undergraduates in collaborative global problem solving with diverse others.
