Walk-In Registrations and Payments can be made the day of the conference when you arrive. If you have a smartphone you can pay for your registration through Eventbrite, or you can bring in a Check. Credit Card payments will be accepted through PayPal.

There is a group rate set for this event at $79/night plus taxes and fees at 11% for FCIE members. Be sure to mention that you are with FCIE to get the group rate!. Institutional representatives should make their own reservations. As the conference begins at 8:30 am on Thursday, it is recommended that you arrive Wednesday evening. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. (accommodations may be made for as early as noon), and Check-out is 11:00 a.m. (accommodations may be made for as late as 1:00 p.m.) You will need to provide proof of tax exempt status at time of check in.

*Special Note: There is a home football game at University of Florida on Saturday, so there may be a lot of traffic throughout the weekend. UF is just 1.5 miles away from the hotel.
Conference Presenters: You must plan to be in attendance for the entire conference or mark which day you can attend on the proposal form. You must also be prepared to bring your own laptop or tablet to connect to the A/V as the hotel does not provide those accommodations.

Our 2015 Keynote speaker is Dr. Matthew Jacobs. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on twentieth century U.S. foreign relations, particularly with the Middle East, and international and world history more broadly. He serves as Director of the International Studies Program for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Director of Undergraduate Academic Programs for the University of Florida International Center.He has received the Department of History’s John K. Mahon Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching (2004-2005) and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Teacher of the Year Award (2009-2010).
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rosalind Latiner Raby as one of our speakers for this years conference. Rosalind Latiner Raby, Ph.D. is a Senior Lecturers at California State University, Northridge in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies sDepartment of the College of Education and is an affiliate faculty for the ELPS Ed.D. Community College program. Dr. Raby is the past-NAFSA Education Abroad Knowledge Community College chair for NAFSA, and the past-NAFSA Region XII Community College Coordinator. Dr. Raby received her Ph.D. in the field of Comparative International Education from UCFL and since 1984, has worked with community college faculty and administrators to help them internationalize their campuses
